Previous Lactate Experience

Race temperature 21ºC / 70ºF. Using head cooling. No cool booster, just water.
I bought the cooling headband a day before the race and it turned out to be worth its weight in gold. During the run it was muggy, others dropped back, but I maintained a good 4.50/km. Occasionally wetting the headband for extra cooling and then on again. I caught up with people at the end of the race and was even able to accelerate. I ended up running a personal record. My body felt great and thanks to that cooling headband I had no heat at all, super!
After this first experience I continued using the headband also during the Triathlon Enschede and a 30 KM endurance run, both in moderate temperature conditions. During training and races I notice that my heart-rate stays lower, my head stays cool and I feel much more comfortable. I also notice that I stay more energetic and recovery after training and race is quicker.
