CoreCooling Orange Patches
CoreCooling Orange Patches
By TRI-EXCELLENCE
The CoreCooling Orange Patches (2 patches) offer consistent cooling at 6°C (44°F). Ideal for maintaining a lower core temperature, they can be inserted into any CoreCooling garment due to the Patch Pockets, providing up to 30-40 minutes of cooling, especially useful in higher-intensity activities.
To be used for the Base-Layer and Arm-Sleeves.
Premium Tailor Made to Fit: All CoreCooling garments are tailor made to the buyer's measurements. After purchase, the buyer will receive an email asking for these measurements, making sure the CoreCooling can keep you cool as comfortable as possible.

Product Information
Tri-Excellence CoreCooling products are designed to keep athletes’ core body temperatures lower during training and competitions. The collection consists of:
- Base-layer with 4 cooling pockets
- Arm-sleeves (left and right) with 1 pocket on each arm
- Wrist-sleeves (left and right) with 1 pocket on each wrist
- Head-band with 1 pocket
The CoreCooling products use advanced cooling technologies, including high-absorbent blue fabric for evaporation and convection cooling and cooling patches that provide stable temperatures. Available cooling patches include Orange Patches (6°C / 44°F) and Blue Patches (15°C / 59°F), which fit into the pockets and provide cooling for up to 80 minutes each, depending on weather conditions. These patches can be exchanged during training or race (or replaced by ice or water) to ensure cooling during the entire duration of your training or race. These patches are reusable, bio-based, and USDA and REACH certified.
How it works
There are 3 special innovative cooling techniques incorporated in the Tri-excellence CoreCooling products
The CoreCooling Fabric: this is a special fabric (the blue fabric) that stimulates evaporation and convection cooling. This fabric is highly absorbent. Just soak it in water for a moment, squeeze it and it is ready to provide several hours of cooling. This fabric is designed to soak and keep moisture (from sweat or water) in the fabric creating a layer of cold water that is in direct contact with your skin. This special design of the fabric allows for a better evaporation and convection cooling of the skin.
The Cooling Patches: These patches give a constant cooling temperature. The orange patch a constant temperature of 6°C (44°F) the blue patch a constant temperature of 15°C (59°F). The patches cool the blue fabric continuously, providing constant cooling of the skin and therefore the core.
The Pockets: There are pockets that are positioned on top of the blue fabric in both the base-layer, arm-sleeves, wrist-sleeves and head-band. In these pockets patches and/or water and/or ice can be placed.
The combination possibilities of applying various CoreCooling products (and use patches and/or water and/or ice) provide a cooling strategy that is fit for every training/race in any ambient condition. Both for pre-per-post cooling.
Advantages lower core temperature & lower heart-rate
The Tri-excellence CoreCooling has proven to improve:
- Core temperature: Significant reduction of 0.6 - 1.1 degrees C. reported by Elite Pro triathletes.
- Heart rate: Lowered by 5-15 beats per minute.
- Perceived exertion: Decreased by 20-30%, allowing athletes to perform with less fatigue and more power.
If you achieve a lower heart rate and lower core temperature through cooling, you will be able to sustain your performance/intensity for longer.
At lower heart rates and lower core temperatures, your metabolism is lower. You will therefore (even if you pedal the same wattages or run the same speed) need relatively fewer carbohydrates. That makes you more efficient.
Lactate is a by-product of carbohydrate burning. So that also means that at lower heart rate and lower core temperature, you are likely to produce less lactate. And therefore a can sustain your performance longer.
If cooling allows you to keep your core temperature and heart rate lower, that results in better focus and cognitive performance. After all, you have less overall stress, so more space to think and make the right decision.
User Tips
Pre and Post Cooling: CoreCooling products are versatile and can be used before, during, or after physical activities to manage core temperature effectively.
Enhanced Cooling with Ice or Water: In extreme heat, ice cubes or cold water can be used to recharge the cooling patches or directly placed in the pockets. This further extends the cooling effect, ensuring consistent temperature regulation during prolonged activities.
Double Layer Strategy: For longer-lasting cooling, place two patches on top of each other, with the blue patch in contact with the blue fabric and the orange patch on top. This keeps the cooling effect active for longer.
Using Ice: In races with high temperatures, place ice cubes directly into the pockets or on top of the patches for extended cooling. In the head-band, ice cubes can also be spread across the width to cool the forehead and temples.
Maintaining Blue Fabric effect: Keep the blue fabric moist for optimal evaporation and convection cooling and easy patch insertion. If the fabric dries and becomes stiff, simply soak it in water to restore flexibility.
Patch Recharging: The patches are reusable and can be "recharged" in the freezer or with an orange patch on top of a blue one (this recharges the blue patch). Be sure to recharge once the patches turn transparent.
Disposal During Races: The patches are durable and are designed long-term use. So, when patches need to be discarded during a race, use a T-bag or arrange for someone to collect them at designated points to reduce waste and extend the period you can use the patches.
Ice cube use: In some races ice-cubes are provided. A good strategy is to fill the front pocket of the base-layer with ice-cubes (at aid-stations or provided by your coach) and then, during exercise, take ice-cubes one-by-one and place them in your head-band or wrist/arm sleeves.

CORECOOLING BUNDLES
UNLOCK PEAK PERFORMANCE WITH CORECOOLING
Introducing the Tri-Excellence CoreCooling products: the ultimate solution for athletes looking to boost performance by managing their core body temperature during training and races.
In a controlled test, athletes using Tri-Excellence CoreCooling saw remarkable results:
-
Core Temp Reduction
A Significant drop in body temperature after just 30-40 minutes, allowing users to maintain peak performance, for longer.
-
Heart Rate Improvent
Users experienced a reduction of 5-15 beats per minute, promoting more efficient heart function over time.
-
Lower Perceived Exertion
Reported effort levels decreased by 20-30%, enabling users to train and compete at a higher intensity with less fatigue.
-
Prolonged Cooling
Reducing core temperature is achieved by prolonged cooling of body parts. CoreCooling products provides the required continuous cooling.
CORECOOLING FABRIC
Our CoreCooling Fabric is a special fabric that stimulates evaporation cooling due to being highly absorbent. After soaking in water and squeezing it, it's ready to provide several hours of cooling. The CoreCooling Fabric is designed to soak and keep moisture from sweat or water in the fabric, allowing for better evaporation and cooling of the skin.
COOLING PATCHES
The Cooling Patches give a constant cooling temperature. Our Orange patch nurtures a constant temperature of 6 degrees Celsius (44 degrees F). While our Blue patch gives a constant temperature of 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees F).
PATCH POCKETS
Each base-layer, arm-sleeve, wrist-sleeve and head-band comes equipped with Patch Pockets, which allow for the Cooling Patches to be specifically placed on top of the CoreCooling Blue Fabric. This placement allows for even better cooling.
4 WAYS OF COOLING
-
Evaporation
The CoreCooling Fabric allows evaporation of water or sweat to cool the body.
-
Direct Cooling
The Cooling Patches allow for direct cooling due to it's cooling temperatures.
-
Cold Water
Additional Cold Water can be poured over the CoreCooling Fabric during training or the race.
-
Ice Cubes
During a race or training, ice cubes can be placed in the Patch Pockets allowing for more cooling and re-charging the patches.
